1. Who We Are

PharMed Solutions & Consultancy ("PMSC", "we", "us", or "our") provides RxPedia, a clinical drug information and medication-safety decision support platform intended primarily for qualified healthcare professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how PMSC collects, uses, discloses, protects, retains, and deletes information when users access or use the RxPedia mobile application, websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Scope and Intended Users

RxPedia is designed as a professional clinical decision support and drug-information service. It is not intended to replace the independent clinical judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Services and does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

3. Information We May Collect

Depending on the features used and the configuration of the services, PMSC may process the following categories of information:

Perform requested clinical screening and patient-profile analysis. This information may constitute sensitive health information.

Usage and technical information

App version, device/OS information, IP address, timestamps, feature usage, diagnostic information, crash reports, and security logs, depending on enabled systems/SDKs.

Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the services.

Support and communications

Messages, support requests, feedback, beta-testing responses, and information voluntarily provided when contacting PMSC.

Respond to requests, resolve issues, administer testing, and improve the services.

4. How We Collect Information
  • Directly from users when they register, sign in, enter information, configure a profile, contact support, participate in testing, or use RxPedia tools.
  • Automatically from the application, servers, security systems, and approved analytics or diagnostic technologies, where configured.
  • From an organization that provides a user with access to RxPedia, such as an employer, hospital, university, pharmacy group, or other institutional customer.
  • From Apple, Google, or another authorized platform/provider for app distribution, subscription entitlement, authentication, or related platform services, where applicable.
5. How We Use Information
  • Provide, operate, maintain, and personalize the services.
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts, subscriptions, licenses, and access rights.
  • Process user-submitted inputs to provide drug-interaction, allergy/cross-reactivity, PLAG, duplicate-therapy, and patient-profile analyses or other enabled RxPedia functions.
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, investigate incidents, and protect PMSC, users, and the services.
  • Provide technical support and respond to inquiries.
  • Monitor performance, diagnose errors, and improve product usability and reliability.
  • Meet contractual, regulatory, legal, audit, and compliance obligations.
  • Send essential service communications. Marketing communications, if used, will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
6. Sensitive Health and Clinical Information

Information entered into RxPedia for patient-profile or medication-safety analysis may be health-related and therefore sensitive. Authorized users should enter only information necessary for the intended clinical function and should avoid entering directly identifying patient information unless the relevant RxPedia deployment expressly supports and authorizes such processing and the user's organization has an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards in place.

PMSC will process sensitive information only for legitimate purposes connected with providing, securing, supporting, or complying with obligations applicable to the Services, and in accordance with applicable law and contractual arrangements.

7. Legal Bases Where Applicable

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing, PMSC may rely, as applicable, on performance of a contract; legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services; compliance with legal obligations; consent where required; and other lawful bases available under applicable law. For sensitive or health information, an additional condition or authorization may be required depending on the jurisdiction and deployment.

8. Sharing and Disclosure

PMSC may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Service providers and processors that support hosting, infrastructure, authentication, security, analytics, diagnostics, communications, customer support, or other operational functions, subject to appropriate contractual and security protections.
  • Apple, Google, payment/subscription providers, or distribution platforms to the extent necessary for app distribution, entitlement, billing, or platform compliance.
  • An institutional customer that administers the user's RxPedia access, where the account is provided through that organization and such access is permitted by applicable agreements and law.
  • Regulators, courts, law-enforcement authorities, or other parties when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services.
  • A successor or relevant party in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

PMSC does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

9. Third-Party Services and SDKs

RxPedia may use third-party technologies to provide infrastructure, authentication, diagnostics, analytics, notifications, subscription processing, or other functions. PMSC is responsible for accurately disclosing relevant third-party data practices in the applicable app-store privacy declarations. Before publication, PMSC will maintain an inventory of SDKs and service providers used by the production application.

10. Data Security

PMSC uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. Measures may include access controls, authentication, encrypted communications, logging, environment segregation, security monitoring, and appropriate controls over service providers. No system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

PMSC retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by data category and deployment.

PMSC will process verified deletion requests in accordance with applicable law, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, contractual, or other permitted purposes.

12. User Rights and Choices

Depending on the user's location and applicable law, users may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of their personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. Rights may be subject to legal limitations and verification requirements.

13. International Data Transfers

RxPedia may use infrastructure or service providers located outside the user's country. Where personal information is transferred internationally, PMSC will use safeguards required by applicable law. [AWS – Frankfurt Zone]

14. Children's Privacy

RxPedia is intended for healthcare professionals and is not directed to children. PMSC does not knowingly invite children to create professional RxPedia accounts. If PMSC learns that personal information has been collected from a child contrary to applicable requirements, it will take appropriate steps to address the information.

15. Professional and Institutional Use

When RxPedia is provided through an employer, hospital, university, pharmacy organization, healthcare institution, or other enterprise customer, that organization may control certain account information or clinical data and may act as a data controller or otherwise have responsibilities under applicable privacy law. Users should also review their organization's privacy notices and policies.

16. Medical / Clinical Decision Support Notice

RxPedia provides clinical drug information and medication-safety decision support. It does not replace professional clinical judgment, patient-specific assessment, applicable prescribing information, institutional protocols, or medical advice. Qualified healthcare professionals remain responsible for clinical decisions and patient care.

17. Cookies and Similar Technologies

RxPedia websites or web-based services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, analytics, or other disclosed purposes. Where required by law, PMSC will obtain consent before using non-essential technologies.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

PMSC may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, data practices, legal requirements, or operational needs. The updated version will show a revised effective date. Where required, PMSC will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
